Hey! We have hooked up convai to an unreal engine 5 metahuman using the most recent tutorial and unreal 5.2.
When we speak to convai through the mic, we have to repeat our questions usually between 2-4 times before it responds to us. We have confirmed it’s not just thinking because if we leave the metahuman to “think” for extended periods of time we dont get an answer. We are using an elevenlabs voice with the highest subscription tier.

<@1023671043287699568> <@365628745886859267> <@&1163218672580575372> letting you know we have FIXED this issue by upgrading from 5.2 to 5.4. In both cases just used standard setups following your guides. I’m not sure if you’ve minimized bandwidth allowance for 5.2 and below or something along those lines but it was basically not usable because prompts were taking too long to get answered by the bot. I hope this feedback helps improve your product because not many others have the luxury of just upgrading their engine version like I have for this particular project.

Thank you <@1262352474765791376> for reporting this, we have some updated code on the UE 5.4 plugin. However, if you would like to get the same latest plugin code for 5.2 I suggest downloading the plugin manually from our github repo
