I don’t think it’s any secret that Eleven Labs voices simply are not useable. Please don’t ask for specific voices are avatar IDs. They are simply bad. They are slow to respond (which is sort of understandable if you’re using their API I guess) and often glitchy, cutting out or hesitating. This is obvious to anyone who has tried them. Feel free to test them out in a realistic environment. I certainly would not have any confidence to subscribe to their Pro tier to be able to use my own custom voices. This is too bad because custom voices would be nice.
Not assigning any blame but just wanted to mention it. Some of the newer GCP voices are fantastic. Maybe more of them and dump EL.
