Issue with Greek Number Pronunciation

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working with Greek TTS and noticed a specific issue regarding the pronunciation of Greek numbers.

So far, I haven’t found any Convai ElevenLabs language model that can correctly pronounce Greek numbers. The only voice model that handles Greek numbers properly is the multilingual voice from Azure. However, the Azure voice doesn’t sound natural when speaking English it mixes in French sounding pronunciation for some reason, which disrupts the flow.

I tested the Greek numbers using the ElevenLabs v3 Alpha model directly on their website, and it handled them very well, much better than any other solution I’ve found so far.

Is there anything we can do on Convai to integrate or support ElevenLabs in a way that preserves that accurate Greek number pronunciation? Or any workaround you recommend?

Currently we don’t have access to Elevenlabs v3 alpha model as it is in closed alpha state. We don’t have an ETA when it will be made available.

You can try out our cutom integration option ( ElevenLabs API Integration | Convai Documentation ) and we can enable the v3 alpha model for the voices ( provided your elevenlabs account have the api access to the v3 alpha model ).
